It began just after World War II with a small card that read "Enclosed is a havdalah candle made from beeswax as well as eight Chanukah candles made from beeswax. If you please, I ask you to send as much as you can afford to pay." delivered to families in the old Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.
What started with a handful of customers and, with the help of God, Hyoola Candles has grown since then into the most well-known and respected supplier of candles, oil lamps, and related items in the world.
What hasn't changed since our humble beginnings, is our commitment to offer our clients the best selection of products at the highest quality. We are family-owned to this day and still offer personal customer service to each of our customers.
Today, we manufacture our own beeswax candles in Bayonne New Jersey factory, and bottle our own premium olive oil - painstakingly chosen for long and smokeless burning. We continually search the world for the highest quality materials and unique products you just don't find anywhere else. We strive to make our products safe with designs developed from years of testing and experience.
